Global shipping industry faces rising shipping costs and additional charges

Recently, the global shipping industry has faced an uptick of shipping charges and additional charges again. Several major shipping companies, including Hapag-Lloyd, Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), Delta Shipping (CMA CGM), South Korean Shipping (HMM) and Walmart Shipping, have announced the upgrades of GRI (Integral Rate Rate Rate) and FAK (Free Shipping) from April 1 to May 1 this year.
